Vimochana, Forum for women’s rights, Sochara and the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery, Victoria Hospital recently released a Report “Surviving Burns with Care: a gender based analysis of burns epidemiology in Bangalore and challenges to the health system” on 20 October, 2016
The Report, put together by Dr Adithya Pardyumna is a collaborative effort of Sochara, a community based health group and Vimochana and is largely based on Vimochana’s work with burns victims of domestic violence in the Victoria Burns Ward for nearly twenty years.
